
YOGA FOR THE NECK AND SHOULDERS

Learn poses to undo tension not only in the neck and shoulders, but through the whole spine. Simple poses that can easily be done at home. Developing a home practice can begin with just one pose. Once you realize the power of the practice you may want more Svaroopa® Yoga. As the body becomes less tense, so does your mind. Each class ends with a delightful guided awareness that allows all the benefits to soak in. I have had many students confess to feeling less stressed, more clear headed and energized by the practice.
Some benefits you may experience: Release tension in your spine especially the neck and shoulders. Feel lighter all over - physically, mentally and spiritually. Improve balance and flexibility.
Appropriate for beginner and experienced yogis.
Cost and Registration: Classes are small and provide personalized care. Mary has 20 years experience teaching yoga and is a Yoga Therapist.
Drop-in rate is $14/class. Or purchase a 4 class pass for $50 and save. Class pass must be used within 3 months. Cash or checks only - pay at the door.

What to Bring: All yoga props are provided. Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in yet not revealing (short, loose shorts are not appropriate). Come a few minutes early if you need to change clothes or if it is your first time.
